Featured Lists & Insights:

This report covers the 1st Sanctioned Tournament of Toy Shogun and it showcased a Good-Stuff Brave Enforcer piloted by yours truly who won 1st place twice the same day. (Yes!). My build involved the not-so typical extra Journey of Destiny, Dracoback the Dragon Steed & Wandering Gryphon Rider. During the match, it is expected that the opponent will exhaust their resources to prevent Journey of Destiny from generating advantage. As such, it is the target of popular handtraps and removals. Removing the main source of the advantage will slow down the engine, thus, extra copies were included as a back-up.

On the other hand, Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju & Lava Golem are excellent side choices that also works in pair with Dracoback, the Dragon Steed. These cards provided a successful out to popular boss monsters and can easily turn the tides of the game!

A Fluffal deck has been spotted and is using the new Guardian Chimera. It's an obvious choice as Fluffal is already piloting the engine which includes Frightfur Patchwork and Edge-Imp Chain. Guardian Chimera provides an avenue to generate both field and card advantage with a massive ATK and has in built protection while Polymerization is in the graveyard.

There are also 2 Dark Magician and 1 Blue-Eyes deck spotted in the event. Both lists utilized the new cards in BACH ( Battle of Chaos).

Dharc, the Dark Charmer, Umbral was also seen being added in the extra deck. Being able to revive opponent's Destiny Hero, Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer can give a huge comeback and it can also search Dark monsters.

Summary:

Overall, decks with Brave Token and Enforcer topped most of the tournaments and we are seeing an increase no. of decks who are adding this to their decks. Proscription is a new card debuted in BACH (Battle of Chaos) who can act as a great way to out DPE (Enforcer) and any handtrap that might stand in the way of combo. Although not yet popular as a side deck option seen this week, we anticipate that it will see the light in future weeks.
